My Own

After a couple of months of searching and thinking, I finally have my domain. Yes! Just this morning I got to chat with my friend Hannah, and I asked her where did she registered her domain because previously I am having a problem with the other two domain registrar which caused the delay of me getting a domain. So, the moment she told me where she registered I didn’t waste any minute and I bought my domain. And I am really glad that I made this choice...soon will deal with the hosting...So friends...I hope that all of you will continue to visit my blog which is now can be accessed through this address ...

Cisco Is Taking Part....

Tuesday, July 1, 2008

Cisco Systems is taking part to everyone's concern...Climate Change! Yes, they recently pledge to reduce greenhouse gas emissions 25 percent by the year 2012, relying to IT and launching energy-efficiency projects to achieve operational goals. According to Laura Ipsen, co-chair of Cisco's Eco Board and Senior Vice President of Cisco's Global Policy and Government Affairs. "We are innovators at Cisco, and we believe that the best way to achieve a more sustainable impact is to rely on innovation and our technology to help us solve problems,". She also said, "Our number one goal here is to use less energy - and we're going to do that by drawing on the power of technology to make things smarter." As we all are aware of technical industry is rapidly increasing, more and more are using energy meaning billions of kWh and tends to increase in the near future. With this initiative from Cisco to lessen by 25 percent is a very strong and hopefully an effective campaign that company's growth can go hand in hand in protecting the environment. Big or small companies should take part or consider to help in our main goal! That is to care for our environment not only just for the present but for the future generations. Way to go, Cisco! Hot Weather Experience...

Monday, June 30, 2008

As days passed by, intense heat is really being experienced here. Imagine a typhoon was just experienced only for a day, which before was a week or more. I don’t intend that we would experience flood and other problems with typhoons. However, it only shows the abnormality of the climate. I’ve gone out a couple of days already since I have to do errands and attend interviews and I really, really feel exhausted in an instant. Also, a bottle of water would only last for 30 minutes to me. And my skin darkened even though I am using an umbrella. It’s like I’ve been to a beach or went to a place for tanning...Just like last week when I went to an interview, just standing and waiting for a cab, my sweat is really like a river flowing down my clothes and when I got there, it’s like I have been a sponge that absorbed water from the bucket to wash a car. And to top it all off, my body feels really sticky! Yikes!

It is somehow scares me to go out that’s why if I don’t have anything to do even how much I wanted to roam around I would really just stay here and surf the net...And my air conditioner is on almost 24 hours, because the heat really suffocates me and giving me a headache. A friend of mine even told me that she normally take a bath 3-4 times a day. It is really frightening what is happening and I am thinking up to what level would it increase...Are the experts doing some research on how we can do something about it? Aside from the norms that is!
